Product Creative Studio Editor for Netflix

Product Creative Studio’s mission is to revolutionize the way promotional content is created and delivered, finding new ways for Netflix members or prospective members to discover new stories or old favorites through creative visual design, video editorial and sound design.

We are looking for a driven, innovative and experienced Video Editor with solid technical experience and a passion for innovative creative to join our team and continue our mission to revolutionize the way this new content is created and delivered to millions of members across the globe.

As Video Editor for Netflix titles you will work closely with other creatives, cross-functional teams, freelancers and vendors to create stunning and impactful promotional assets, both on and off service. Storytelling is a very important aspect of our work, so you must be able to communicate the emotional content and excitement of the title in a short format.

The Role

• Video editors are responsible for the kick-off, creative development and execution of title level trailers and other promotional videos.
• Must have a strong voice for creative direction and crafting narrative short-form assets.
• Ability to clearly communicate artistic vision with partners or bring ideas to life with freelance editors under your direction.
• Troubleshoot toolset inefficiencies and collaborate on post-production optimizations.
• Work closely with a group of peers to efficiently scale asset suites and collaborate on creative projects
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various other internal organizations to address needs of multiple teams and uses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over 5 years in an editorial / post-production capacity (studio, agency or freelance)
• Expertise in non-linear editing platforms (Adobe Premiere)
• Working knowledge of motion graphics authoring software (such as After Effects) such that you can adapt existing projects.
• Knowledge of online / offline production workflows & conform of proxy to full-resolution footage.
• Ability to self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
