Video Editor in Atlanta Ongoing Gig

High Arc Media Inc. is a fast-growing, startup production company in its 3rd year of business. Most of our work is music videos, corporate, brand promos, and documentary content. There is a ton of room for growth with this position. Our current team consists of mostly contractors and interns. We are looking for an individual with a true passion for editing/creativity, who can also operate in a clean, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Prep, Cut, and Color client and internal footage
• Review client footage to pull selects
• Input stock audio, sound design, and effects where necessary
• Execute an effective, creative balance between music/entertainment content and commercial/corporate content
• Actively work on learning new editing techniques and technologies to improve post-production success
• Communicate with Directors and clients using Frame.io to update all revisions
• Organize footage within Dropbox
• Thoroughly read editing treatments to complete edits in an accurate and timely manner.

Skills

• Pro to Expert experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Beginner to Expert experience with Adobe After Effects
• Experience with Davinci Resolve and Photoshop is not required, but is a plus
• Acute attention to detail and organization
• Speedy Turnaround times
