Assistant Video Editor in Atlanta Area

Assistant Video Editor provides support to film/video editors and help them deliver the finished product. Assistant Video Editors responsibilities will include handling paperwork, transmitting information to the editor, liaising between editors and the rest of the crew, and using editing software that involves decisions about the selection and combining of shots into sequences, as well as the addition of accompanying sound effects and music—to ultimately create a finished movie, television program, commercial, promo, or snipe.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years in a support role assisting others.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and knowledge of including but not limited to Adobe, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must have strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Video Editing experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
