Video/Content Producer

We are currently looking for a Video/Content Producer to join our growing team.  This position requires a passionate,
creative and driven individual.

Stellar written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions are very important to Senior Management. Finally, remaining calm under pressure and having a great sense of humour are big assets.

Video/Content Producer duties and expectations

-Research, co-ordinate, produce, shoot & edit – Video & Audio.
-Distribute content daily to Streaming, On-Demand, Social Media, Broadcast and Web platforms.
-Technical ability to work in a live-to-air technical environment
-Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content both live and remote
-Develop production schedules
-Record, edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media,
organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media
-Manage video library
-Evaluate analytics

Content creation will be the production of short form daily Podcasts (2 minutes to 20 minutes) with a host/cohost
and/or guests.
This will include “In-Studio” video recording using 1-3 static cameras, for live “switch to air” use and/or shot and edited for later broadcast to Streaming and Social Media platforms.  The Video Producer will be responsible for updating Social Media platforms daily.

Daily work Monday to Friday. Hours will vary. Employment will require applicant to work under COVID safe conditions within our Studio Downtown Calgary. There will also be circumstances that require work to be completed at home.
