SYNOPSIS/STORYLINE:
Zik is first and foremost a show that explores music. But it’s also a wild and colourful sound bazaar! Along with his numerous friends, the charismatic musician Mehdi invites us in his own universe: a cluttered studio where we have fun exploring all that music has to offer. We approach the subject from different angles: through history, or through science, like maths, physics and even sociology. With Zik, teenagers will delve into music beyond what they’re used to seeing in popular culture. We want to give them a “behind-the-scenes” view of music, particularly the entire creative process that leads to a song.

CASTING COMMENTS:
• We are looking for a dozen versatile actors who can easily portrait different roles in a collection of eclectic capsules and sketches.
• It is important for the creators that their series showcases the cultural and body diversity.
• We welcome actors from all genders and cultural backgrounds.
• We are looking for teenagers between 13 to 17 years old and adults between 20 and 75 years old.
