This position will provide Video Editor Interns with valuable hands-on experience in the field for a real-world project beginning as soon as possible. The Editor Intern will be responsible for ensuring the proper grammatical structure is implemented in all written communication. The Video Editor also edits and reviews raw video footage to create a final version suitable for the client’s needs. A qualified candidate must show creativity by implementing digital storytelling, commercials, sound effects, and various other forms of media. This position is the pinnacle of establishing successful media outreach for our diverse client base.

D*uties: *The Editor Intern is responsible for analyzing raw footage and developing the final product through detailed outlines and scripts. The Editor will also ensure all written forms of communication are free from grammatical errors and uses proper syntax. Additional responsibilities include:

Video Editor Internship – Job Responsibilities:

  • Inputting and editing sound to improve footage, including music selection, voiceovers, and graphic integration
  • Splicing digital film and video to create one raw file
  • Lighting, coloring, and faulty footage correction
  • Work in conjunction with directors to ensure cohesion of the vision of the client.

Video Editor Internship Requirements:

  • Background in media, photography, art, technology, and videography
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have a working knowledge of MS Office and Google Drive
  • Operate with a sense of urgency
  • Multimedia experience preferred
  • Enjoys working in a physical or virtual team environment.

  • Enjoys working with people
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro preferred
  • Understanding in cutting edge technology, including computers and digital equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and transportation
