Hi everyone,
We are filming a student short film and are looking for an ACTRESS (Early to Mid 20’s), preferably of Asian descent, that is available January 11 all day for a shoot.
The short is called Inner Truth and it’s about: a young man’s struggles with gender dysphoria, within an opinionated and homophobic family. After a confrontational family dinner, Adam is left spiraling and must overcome his fears in order to become the person he wants to be.
The Woman (early to mid twenties) — is who Adam really is, she is the reflection of who he sees himself being in the future. Her entire performance will be done as reflections, meaning she will only “appear” in mirrors.
She will be present all throughout the film because she is such an important character. Sadly, the role is non-speaking and volunteer, but we will provide food, credits and footage for your reel.
