Messages left for other purposes, such as following up on an application or technical issues not related to a disability, will not receive a response.Job DescriptionAn opportunity for a fixed-term/temporary Robotic Camera Operator is available.The fixed-term/temporary Robotic Camera Operator is responsible for supporting NJ Spotlight newscasts, remote productions/uplinks, and live/pre-tape productions via the utilization of robotic camera equipment and software. Please note this is a fixed-term temporary role to provide on-call support.Specific responsibilities include:Oversee live operation of multiple Panasonic and Sony robotic cameras across multiple locations and multiple studios; Work with technical and production staff to satisfy production needs for live, taped, and automated programming, under supervision of Technical Director, Reporters and Producers;Format preprogrammed video shots using video software; Coordinate camera look and shading for all cameras across multiple studios and locations;Manage studio lighting and board programming for all studio sets;Manage all moves, focusing, presets, and shot recalls;Operation of robotic cameras, as needed;Other relevant duties, as assigned.Qualified candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as a team player who works well in a fast-paced, dynamic news environment.
