Job Position(s): Lifestyle Videographer and Photographer

 

Job Summary What You Will Do:

• Spend weekends (Friday–Sunday) and occasional extended trips camping at stunning locations of your choice, creating high-quality photos and short lifestyle videos showcasing company products (e.g., camping gear) and their use cases.
• Produce engaging social media content, from rugged outdoor adventures to stylish glamping vibes.
• Edit photos and videos in office in Durbanville (Monday–Thursday) to craft professional-grade content.
• Manage and grow social media platforms with your creative vision.
• Carry company products to shoot locations, demonstrating their use in compelling lifestyle content.
• Option to invite your partner along for the journey or go solo!

• Salary: (negotiable based on experience and portfolio).
• Travel Allowance: Fully covered for work-related travel.

• Company car for all shoot-related travel after probation period.
• 20 days paid leave annually.
• Permanent, full-time role with a 3-month probation.
• Work Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (office-based, Durbanville)
• Friday–Sunday: Camping and content creation (with flexibility for longer trips).
• Editing after work in your own time to meet deadlines.

Who They Are Looking For:

• Proven portfolio showcasing outdoor lifestyle photos, short product videos, and social media content (submit with application).
• Skilled in video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Lightroom or other) and social media platforms.
• Must own professional-grade photography/videography equipment (e.g., camera, lenses, stabilizers) and maintain personal insurance for it.
• Physically strong to carry company products to shoot locations.
• Own reliable car for commuting to our Durbanville office; (go-away adventures covered by the company).
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to select the next epic location for shoots.
• Able to edit your own content with Adobe lightroom / Canva / Snapseed / VSCO etc.
