Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Tertiary qualification in motion picture or similar
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Adobe Suite (Premium Pro & After Effects) proficiency essential
  • Video editing/Animation
  • Motion design, graphic design
  • Managing, producing and designing projects from brief to fulfillment
  • Producing motion graphic contents for videos
  • Working with a range of media, including photography, to create final artwork
  • Producing graphic content for site re-skins, page layouts, site graphics, static & flashbanners
  • Editing voice overs
  • Post production of previously shot work, which included video and photo editing, for use of marketing services on website and social media platforms
  • Direct and produce shots of video, audio and photo shoots
  • Budgeting and purchasing camera, lighting and sound equipment
  • Maintaining lighting, sound and camera equipment
  • Social media (ie. LinkedIn, Web design on Wix) knowledge added bonus

Responsibilities:

  • The videographer will shoot and edit training and related footage. The videographer will accomplish the bulk of the technical tasks related to production and post-production.
  • He or she will transport, set up, and operate equipment; and assist with staging, set preparation and dressing when necessary
  • Advise management if any additional camera or related equipment is required
  • Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
  • Operate and maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment
  • Capturing clients’ training footage, interviews, product videos, editing footage, grading footage, exporting final video
  • Duties may include location shooting
  • Expertise working in Adobe environment
  • Visual and audio mixing and editing
  • Responsible for the control, cleaning and safekeeping of all related equipment
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered within deadlines provided.
