Duties & Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit high-quality, engaging video content tailored for social media platforms to make users stop scrolling

• Cut, color correct, add transitions, and enhance footage with graphics, text overlays, animations, and audio to suit the campaign goals

• Optimise video formats, resolutions, and durations for different social media specifications and best practices

Content Adaptation & Versioning

• Repurpose long-form content into short-form formats (e.g., reels, stories, shorts)

• Implement feedback and revisions quickly and accurately to meet fast-paced production schedules

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and translate them into compelling video narratives

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for visual storytelling, motion design, and content structure

Social Media Trends & Best Practices

• Stay up-to-date with current social media video trends, platform updates, and emerging tools

• Apply performance insights and analytics feedback to improve future edits and content impact

Asset Management

• Maintain organised file structures and naming conventions for easy access and collaboration

• Archive and back up final edits, raw footage, project files, and working assets securely

Motion Graphics & Basic Animation (advantageous)

• Design and integrate simple motion graphics, animated text, and logo animations using tools like After Effects or similar

• Customise templates and create original animations for enhanced storytelling

Quality Control

• Ensure all deliverables meet client standards, technical specs, and platform requirements

• Conduct final reviews to catch visual or audio inconsistencies, sync issues, or export errors

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 3-5 years video editing experience
• Has a deep understanding of the power of online and social media
• Demonstrates an excellent command of the English language
• Possesses a basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
• Embraces new concepts and can execute them with skill
• Has ambitious goals and dreams
