BE SICILIAMIA: Make Our Moments, Your Moments
SICILIAMIA is an international lifestyle start-up rooted in Sicilian heritage, dedicated to crafting authentic experiences and products that celebrate tradition, connection, and purposeful living. Based in Sicily, we are currently renovating stone houses into high-standing villas, while also focusing on providing sustainable tourism and agriculture.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals with a strong desire to create and tell stories. Our mission is to create high-quality, cinematic videos that showcase the the progress of our projects on-site, but also the essence of Sicilian life, its environment, and its rich cultural traditions. From our team, you’ll be trained to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently. While also gaining insights into storytelling and developing a cinematic style that aligns with the company’s brand vision.
This onsite internship will take place in Ragusa, Sicily and starts in September 2025 for 3 up to 9 months.
Requirements
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Edit content for channels: edit existing content for Youtube, Instagram and Facebook, aiming to increase organic reach and engagement.
- Content enhancement: Edit raw video footage, to make engaging and shareable content that resonates with our audience.
- Short-form video editing: Create compelling 15-60-second videos, optimising them for various social media formats (e.g., Reels)
POST-PRODUCTION
Apart from the video Editing department you’ll also gain experience in audio mixing, colour grading and social media editing. Dive deep into the outstanding lifestyle in Sicily.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic editing knowledge and skills with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
- Passion for music, culture, and exploration
- Competent technical knowledge of file formats, video standards and compressions.
- Strong understanding of the modern media landscape and current social media trends.
- You’re a digital native.
