Junior Video Editor

Roles & Responsibilities

The Junior Video Editor will assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision suitable for online publication. As a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

We’re seeking a proactive and independent video editor who is passionate about both digital media and native advertising. Candidates should be interested in what makes someone share and how people communicate online.

Responsibilities:

• Piece together video edits following creative brief and production direction
• Review shooting script and raw material to edit video
• Delivering videos independently under tight deadlines
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Support post-production graphics, music, dialogues, and visual effects needs, where possible
• Manage video publication and file archival

Requirements:

• Familiar with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop (After Effects a plus)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with video portfolio, specifically documentaries, host-driven content and explainers
• Detail-oriented and organised
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
