Job Description
In our team, Information Management – Media, you’ll embark on a hands-on learning experience in Aveiro, collaborating with videographers, video editors, development, product management, and marketing teams both locally and internationally. As a Video Editor intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in technical communication while working on real-world projects that impact global audiences. Your contribution to something big:
- Assist in conceptualizing, planning, and producing videos for digital media and apps in the areas of technical documentation, training, and marketing;
- Edit and encode video sequences, ensuring high-quality production standards;
- Create storyboards aligned with the Brand Style guides;
- Conduct video interviews, reports, and explainer videos in a studio and mobile settings;
- Support directing internal and external actors for product-oriented video content;
- Set up and operate video studio equipment, including professional camera, sound, and lighting systems;
- Review, correct, and finalize video projects in consultation with the team;
- Cooperate with editorial, marketing, development, and product management teams in Aveiro and internationally;
- Assist in briefing and coordinating external service providers.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
- University degree in audiovisual media, media technology, information design, market communication or comparable qualification;
- Basic knowledge of video conception, creation, and production;
- Some exposure to camera equipment, sound, and lighting technology is an advantage;
- Familiarity with video editing and Adobe Software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop);
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D, and Redshift Renderer is a plus;
- A keen visual and creative flair is desirable;
- Fluency in English (excellent written and spoken abilities);
- Self-motivated, creative, team-oriented, technically interested, enthusiastic about new features;
- Independent, conscientious, reliable, quality-conscious, resilient and flexible way of working.
