Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lighting Tech / Production Assistant to join our production team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone eager to contribute to the visual and technical aspects of our productions while gaining hands-on experience in the media industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Technical Director with setup, adjustment, and maintenance of lighting equipment for studio and location shoots.
- Operate lighting controls and ensure optimal lighting for various production settings.
- Collaborate with other crew members to achieve desired visual effects.
- Support production tasks, including setting up and breaking down equipment, props, and sets.
- Handle administrative duties such as tracking inventory, organizing gear, and maintaining schedules.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues during shoots to ensure smooth production flow.
- Uphold safety protocols and standards during all production activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience or strong interest in lighting and production for film, TV, or digital media.
- Familiarity with lighting equipment and tools (experience with Onyx Nx1 and ETC is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required).
