DUXTON Windows & Doors is offering an exciting opportunity in the growing field of fiberglass window sales! We are looking to hire a full-time Project Manager, effective immediately. This person should have a minimum of 2 years experience in a window and door sales role, or 2 years in the architectural or building envelope field. They should be very organized and detail-oriented; comfortable reading building plans; efficient working in Microsoft Office; have great people skills; and offer top notch customer service.Our new Calgary branch would initially be a home office with the intention of growing it into a branch in the future. The successful candidate would work closely with our Edmonton branch, where we have an office/showroom/warehouse available. We have existing accounts in Calgary and so the individual would start with a healthy base of business, and have ample opportunity to grow it into a larger branch.Responsibilities include:* Meeting with architects, engineers, builders, dealers, and homeowners to discuss window/door requirements* Tracking commercial tenders, reviewing specifications, and submitting bids* Developing distribution network* Receiving quote requests, corresponding with customers by phone, email and in person* Using WindowMaker software to prepare estimates* Coordinating and cross-checking shop drawings* Releasing orders into production* Corresponding with the customer about lead times, delivery, and site conditions* Visiting job sites to provide assistance, or witness mock-up installations and site testingQualifications:* Minimum 2 years in window/door sales or in architectural/building envelope field* Long-term commitment to previous jobs (3+ years at each)* Very comfortable with computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)* Customer-oriented* A relevant post-secondary education is preferred but not requiredCompensation & Benefits:* Base salary: $35,000-45,000 payable bi-weekly* Commission: 2% on sales, payable as payments are received, monthly* Total gross income is estimated between $70,000 to $110,000 depending on experience and sales* Expected hours: 40+ per week* Expenses: Mileage compensation for personal vehicle use plus cell phone allowanceJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:* Commission payBenefits:* Dental care* Disability insurance* Extended health care* Life insurance* Paid time off* RRSP match* Work from homeSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayApplication question(s):* Do you have a minimum of 2 years experience in window sales or architecture/building envelopes?Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 2025-01-05
