Video Editor

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor needing immediate base part time income, plus commissions on each and every editing project. Some content can be mixed remotely at your home after it is captured at our studio or on location. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in popular video editing software. You will be responsible for transforming digital studio-produced content into compelling audio-video product. Familiarization with social media navigation is also helpful. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that meets project specifications and deadlines.
• Collaborate with directors, clients, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Experience with popular video and audio editing software on phone and PCs.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, into videos to enhance storytelling.
• Some experience with customer management systems (CRMs) is helpful, but not required and content through content management systems (CMS) to ensure proper organization of video files is also helpful.
• Perform photo & audio manipulation as needed to support video projects.
• Some experience with Excel spreadsheets is helpful, but not required.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new editing techniques to continually improve skills.

Experience

• Some experience with popular editing software is essential.
• Experience with 2D animation and motion graphics is highly desirable..
• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant internships is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
