Job Summary
Founder of a leading luxury real estate company is searching for a social media/video editor. This position is ideal for a younger individual with social media experience that can be applied to a business platform. They are also proactive, creative, has excellent video/photo editing and social media skills. We are looking are an individual, not a marketing company.
THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION. A 1099 WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE END OF THE YEAR.
Responsibilities
Job duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Create and Design content and post on Social Media platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram/Reels, Facebook, as well as publishing dashboard.
- Film, create, and edit video content.
- Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns.
- Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand.
- Manage all promotions and advertisements.
- Develop strategies to increase followership and engagement.
- Develop miscellaneous content to increase followership.
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages in a timely manner.
- Make occasional posts to cross-promote events hosted by local venues/business owners.
- Manage social media engagement during events, such as Instagram Live and other live posts.
Qualifications
- Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment.
- Ability to learn and adhere to company brand standards and marketing practices.
- Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as a part of a team.
- Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- Experience with filming, creating and editing videos.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to succeed.
- Service-based attitude.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma preferred, but not required.
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, On call, Weekend availability Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Contract
Compensation: $20-$25/hour
