Video Editor / Creative Assistant (Contractor Role)

Location: Newcastle/Lake Macquarie (Will be onsite for training days then mostly remote)

Ward Visuals is a premium Real Estate videography business, and we’re looking for a motivated, creative, and reliable contractor to join our established team. If you’re passionate about Real Estate videography and want to help contribute to our continued growth, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role:

• Contractor role (ABN required).
• Flexible hours: Work will vary from 5-15+ hours per week depending on demand.
• 1-2 month trial period to ensure it’s a great fit for both of us.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Video editing in Premiere Pro (required experience).
• Collaborating creatively on ideas, helping to shape the future of the business.
• Managing and organising raw footage and project files.
• Assisting with social media content creation.
• Helping with generalised emails and inquiries—supporting the business’s day-to-day communication.
• Learning and contributing to all aspects of Real Estate videography, from filming to post-production.
• Helping to grow the business and brainstorm strategies for future success.

What We’re Looking For:

• Premiere Pro experience required (strong editing skills preferred).
• A passion for videography and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Motivated, organised, and reliable, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Someone who is eager to contribute ideas, help build the business, and work alongside me to make it a success.
• Must have an ABN or be willing to get one.

Pay & Hours:

• Pay starts at $25-$35/hour, depending on experience and skills.
• Hours will vary: typically 5-15+ hours per week, depending on workload.
