Video Editor

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with strong photo editing skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in video post-production and a keen eye for detail. This role primarily focuses on video editing (80%) while incorporating photo editing (20%) to support our creative projects. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with videographers, photographers, and other creative team members to produce visually compelling content that aligns with our clients’ visions and our brand’s high standards.

Duties

• Video Editing: Edit and enhance video footage for promotional, social media, and branding purposes using platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Canva.
• Motion Graphics: Create engaging 2D animations and motion graphics using tools like Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Photo Editing: Retouch and enhance images to meet high-quality standards, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision.
• Asset Management: Organize and manage digital assets for efficient workflow using tools like FTP or cloud storage platforms.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver engaging content on time.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software updates to continuously improve your skills and workflows.
• Ensure all edited video and photo content adheres to deadlines and maintains the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Video Editing Software: Expertise in at least one video editing platform such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Canva is required.
• Motion Graphics Skills: Experience with tools like Adobe After Effects or similar for creating dynamic animations and effects.
• Photo Editing Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools for retouching and enhancing still images.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows and techniques, including color grading and audio synchronization.
• Familiarity with digital asset management tools and FTP protocols for efficient workflow organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and photo editing work is required.

Preferred

• Experience with additional graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Canva for creating marketing visuals.
• Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and creating content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
