Marketing Video Videographer and Editor– Freelance

Job Summary
We’re a foodservice provider for Chicagoland daycares and preschools. We make scratch cooked, healthy food that kids love to eat. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and transforming raw footage into polished final products. This role requires a strong understanding of video production techniques, as well as proficiency in editing software. The Videographer/Editor will collaborate with various departments to create engaging visual content that aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives. We are looking for someone in Chicago to create and edit video content to create videos for social media, HR, and operations on an as-needed basis. The catalogue would include sales videos, recipe videos for school parents, etc. We would give direction on what videos to create (i.e. make a sales video about our food quality) but then we need someone to take it to the finish line

Duties

• Capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional materials, events, and internal communications.
• Edit video content using industry-standard software
• Create motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
• Manage the post-production process, including color correction, audio mixing, and final delivery of videos.
• Maintain organized files and archives of all video assets for easy access and future use.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and editing.

Experience

• Proven experience in videography and video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software.
• Strong understanding of photography principles and techniques as they relate to videography.
• Experience with motion graphics is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: $25.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
