Freelance Video Editor / Photographer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess the technical skills necessary to produce high-quality video content. As a Video Editor, you will collaborate with our production team to edit and enhance video footage, ensuring that the final product aligns with our brand’s vision and standards.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished final products that meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Bridge, to create engaging visual content.
• Implement photo editing and manipulation techniques to enhance video quality.
• Manage video assets through FTP and ensure proper organization of files for easy retrieval.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and editing techniques to continuously improve skills.
• Assist in the development of graphics and animations as needed for various projects.
• Ensure all edits are completed on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects and Avid.
• Experience in film production or videography is preferred.
• Familiarity with graphic design principles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
