Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Camera Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and a passion for storytelling through visual media. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage that aligns with our creative vision and project requirements. This role requires technical expertise, artistic sensibility, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Operate cameras and other video equipment to capture footage for various projects, including films, commercials, and promotional videos.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and ensure the visual narrative is effectively communicated.
- Set up shots, adjust lighting, and frame scenes to achieve the desired aesthetic quality.
- Edit video content using software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, ensuring smooth transitions and high production values.
- Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects as needed to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during production.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continually improve skills and techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in video production with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of videography techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
- Experience in motion graphics is a plus; familiarity with photography is also beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an artistic eye for composition and storytelling through visuals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $19.55 – $23.55 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
