Full job description

We are a fine jewelry brand, seeking a talented product & lifestyle photographer with experience in creating video content for social media and YouTube. Graphic design experience a strong plus! This is a freelance position, 2-3 days per week based out of the office located in Iselin, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shoot and edit short-form videos of gold and diamond jewelry products for the website, social media, YouTube & other platforms.
  • Shoot and edit customer testimonials to create a marketing campaign
  • Partner with social media team to create multiple versions of a given video to comply with different social media platforms.
  • Assemble footage into rough, and final cuts while maintaining professional standards
  • Add music, dialogue, graphics, licensed music, visual effects, voice-over and sound effects to increase the quality of each video
  • Provide color correction and sound support when needed
  • Quality check videos and deliverables to ensure all assets meet standards, appropriate specs and are ready for upload across all platforms
  • Maintain proper organized library of all footage
  • Plan video shoots including scouting, selecting and reserving shoot locations.
  • Be able to shoot videos of models wearing jewelry and create a campaign that is specific to a collection or seasonal trends.
  • Keep video equipment in pristine condition.
  • Work closely with internal team to brainstorm and come up with creative solutions to keep us on the cutting edge of video trends.
  • Capturing a clean and balanced audio feed, while being aware of ambient noise, room noise, and other outside sources of noise that might be picked up in the background.

SKILLS

  • Knowledge and experience of lighting set-up, whether in studio or on location.
  • Minimum 3 years of editing and shooting experience
  • Expert knowledge of Sony DSLR cameras & lenses, pertaining to videography and best video practices.
  • Color grading and audio mixing experience
  • Proficient in softwares: Capture 1, Lightroom experience, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Final CutPro
  • Minimum 2 years working experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing
  • Must pay very close attention to detail whether it’s a hair out of place, makeup smears, or something in the background that just doesn’t look right.
  • Works well with deadlines

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
