Event Videographer

VIP Productions is a long standing event videography company. We specialize in weddings, birthdays, and galas. Our main passion is delivering high quality memories people can enjoy for years to come. When being apart of VIP Productions you will learn to work as a team to capture special moments from each event.

This is a part time position starting at $17.50 an hour with plenty of room to grow and will mostly require weekend commitments. Camera equipment is provided by VIP. Depending on hours, videographers will be needed to film events 4-14 hours at a time. VIP meets the federal standard for overtime pay and travel compensation for locations outside of our typical event zone. VIP is currently unable to offer benefits at this time. Sick pay, however is accruable.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to adjusting cameras, carrying equipment, Keeping camera steady and framed, Keeping long steady records during events for multi camera editing, and Zooming in and out. This is a great starting position that will allow you room to learn and grow within the company as you become more and more comfortable with the cameras and develop your “director’s eye” behind the lens.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications/Skills:

• Background in videography
• Experience with cameras (Preferably Sony Alpha Cameras or similar)
• Experience with gimbals
• Ability to multitask
• Great communication skills, positive attitude and pleasant to be around
• Punctual and able to meet deadlines
• Attention to detail / Ready to Learn
• Able to lift camera equipment up to 30 pounds
• Able to stand and focus for long hours at a time
• Interest in photography is also a huge plus!
