Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site, 4 days a week)
Employment Type: Contract to Full-Time

We are seeking a talented Bilingual Video Editor to join our team and play a key role in crafting engaging video content that resonates across diverse audiences in the U.S. and China. If you’re passionate about storytelling through video and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling promotional ads for social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Review rough cuts for technical or creative flaws and provide actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to meet project deadlines.
- Continuously enhance video content based on performance metrics provided by the marketing team.
- Pair music and audio creatively to enhance storytelling within videos.
- Maintain consistent communication with teams and ensure quality across all projects.
- Keep up with the latest trends in video editing and social media to create innovative content.
- Perform additional duties as required in a dynamic startup environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–4 years in video editing, marketing creative teams, or social media video production. (Open to fresh graduates with a background in film or social media video editing.)
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin (both verbal and written) is required.
- Social Media Expertise: Familiarity with platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Creative Vision: Strong creative thinker with an eye for detail and a knack for pairing music with visual storytelling.
- Collaborative Mindset: Able to work effectively in a team and independently, meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Startup Experience: Previous experience in a startup is an asset but not required.
- Location: Willingness and ability to work on-site at the Sunnyvale, CA office 4 days a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
