Videographer/Editor

We need a videographer to work on some cool projects. We have a large social media presence, a signifcant podcast following and are making the world a better place. Super cool group of people. We have a lot of fun. Your boss (me) is cool as F*ck.

Going to need you to come to my home office maybe one or two days a week to film and the rest of the work can be done from home as soon as we can trust you’re actually getting the work done when you’re not being watched. Don’t worry my house is super cool, everyone will be here with us. This could very well turn into a full time gig if you’re good.

Here’s what I need. First and foremost, someone who is creative. Knowing how to use editing software is not the same as knowing how to make really captivating content. Using AI is great and encouraged but it doesn’t replace all skills just yet. You need to have “it” and we know what “it” is. You won’t be able to fool us I promise you. I don’t need someone I need to teach. I need someone who already knows.

Listen, that doesn’t mean that you can’t improve your technical skills but its your creative mind that is valuable. You must know how to operate a camera too. We make a lot of viral creative content and want to see what you want to also contribute to the process.

If you are a sensitive little baby, please don’t bother. The last thing I need is to be a kindergarten teacher. If you are going to try and figure out a way on how to get over on the company this won’t be the place that will not catch onto it. You must like the police. If you do not like the police please do not bother. We train police officers. That wouldn’t be a good fit for us.

This will be the best job you ever have I promise but we are looking for the right fit. You will also learn a whole new way of thinking and can expect that you will have access to people that can help you grow exponentially. Our employees don’t feel like they have a job. They feel like they have a purpose. We are all family here. Real cool group of people.

Duties:
– Film and edit videos for various projects, including promotional videos, interviews, events, and more
– Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging visual content
– Utilize post-production techniques to enhance video quality
– Create motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects
– Incorporate Adobe Illustrator for graphic elements in videos
– Ensure all video content aligns with the brand’s guidelines and objectives

Requirements:
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
– Strong background in video production, editing, and videography
– Knowledge of photography principles to enhance video quality
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
– Excellent attention to detail and creative mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
