Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Videographer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, shooting, and editing engaging video content for our clients across various diverse industries. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and creative vision to produce high-quality visual storytelling that aligns with client goals and Platform Marketing’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including promotional videos, social media content, testimonials, product showcases, and event coverage.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with our Content Strategist, creative and marketing teams to develop compelling video concepts that meet client briefs.
• Post-Production: Perform video editing, colour grading, sound design, and additional copy / graphics to create polished final outputs.
• Project Management: Organise and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Client Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into the final product.
• Staying Updated: Keep abreast of emerging trends, tools, and techniques in videography and digital marketing to being to each client project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a videographer, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar).
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and audio recording.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is not essential but is a plus.
• Familiarity with all social media platforms and video formats
• Excellent storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of marketing and branding principles is an advantage.
