In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Edit content for organic channels: You will edit existing content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, aiming to increase organic reach and engagement

• Short-form video editing: Create compelling 15-60-second videos, optimizing them for various social media formats (e.g., Reels, TikTok)

• Content enhancement: Edit raw video footage, including UGC (user-generated content), to make engaging and shareable content that resonates with our audience.

• Stay current: Keep an eye on social media trends and adapt videos to ensure they’re aligned with current best practices for organic engagement.

• Collaborate: Work closely with the Social Media Manager and other team members to ensure the content aligns with our brand messaging and social media strategy.

Must-haves:

• Experience with social media content: At least a year of experience editing videos specifically for organic social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).

• Proficiency in video editing software: Comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software) to create high-quality content.

• Strong communication skills: Good command of English (both written and verbal).

• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your skills in editing short-form social media videos.

• Attention to detail: Ability to make edits that are visually appealing and align with our brand’s style and voice.

• Passion for social media: A genuine interest in the ever-evolving world of social media and a desire to stay updated on trends.

What we’ll appreciate:

• Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, Capcut, or After Effects for additional creative support.

• Understanding of social media algorithms and how to create content that performs organically.

• Creative mindset: Strong storytelling skills and the ability to make video content that resonates with our community.

• A background or interest in digital marketing or E-commerce is a plus.
