Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Producer/Editor to join our team and help bring engaging, informative, and visually appealing content to life for a YouTube channel focused on psychology, mental health, and addiction. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, experienced in video production, and adept at editing high-quality content that resonates with a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production:
- Record videos with professional audio and video equipment.
- Set up and manage lighting, sound, and camera equipment for studio or on-location shoots.
- Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos, adding graphics, music, captions, and other post-production elements.
- Ensure videos align with the channel’s tone, message, and audience preferences.
- Create thumbnail designs and optimize content for YouTube.
- Content Strategy:
- Collaborate to develop creative ideas and formats for videos based on channel goals and trends in the psychology and mental health niche.
- Stay updated on YouTube best practices, algorithm changes, and emerging trends.
- Project Management:
- Manage and organize video files and assets.
- Meet deadlines for content delivery and ensure timely uploads.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Experience with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Strong understanding of YouTube content creation and optimization strategies.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge or interest in psychology, mental health, or addiction topics.
- Graphic design skills for thumbnails and visual assets.
- Familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.

Compensation:

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
