Position Overview:

As a Freelance Video Editor at FiftyFlowers, you will play a vital role in shaping our brand’s story by transforming raw footage into vibrant, compelling videos that captivate and engage our audiences across multiple platforms. Your expertise will be key in producing high-quality content that reflects our brand’s beauty and attention to detail while meeting our strategic marketing goals. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and an adaptable approach to optimize content for different formats and channels. Additionally, experience with AI-powered video tools (such as HeyGen, InVideo, Munch, and Veed) is a plus, as you will guide the team on the best-fit solutions to elevate our visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Production: Help stage and film high-quality footage for various projects, including paid ads, social media, product highlights, tutorials, announcements, and more.
• Video Editing: Edit raw video footage to create polished, high-quality content that effectively conveys our brand message and engages our audience.
• Post-Production: Enhance video content through color correction, sound editing, and the addition of graphics and effects, ensuring a professional finish that meets brand standards.
• Content Optimization: Optimize videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, email) to maximize engagement and reach, adhering to best practices for each medium.
• AI Tools Guidance: Utilize AI video tools effectively and advise the team on the best applications to enhance video production and efficiency.
• Timely Delivery: Manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring all video content is delivered on time and aligns with overall marketing timelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and creative teams to understand project goals, provide input on video concepts, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive visual identity across different projects.
• Quality Control: Review final video outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements before distribution.

• Timely delivery of all video projects, adhering to set deadlines.
• Production of high-quality videos that effectively engage users and drive audience interaction.
• Consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity across all video content.
• Responsiveness to feedback, incorporating revisions and suggestions to meet project goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Thirst for knowledge and desire to grow from Part-time to Full-time upon completion of school.
• Proven experience in shooting and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• Experience with AI video tools (e.g., HeyGen, InVideo, Munch, Veed) and the ability to recommend best practices for their use in video production.
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including sound and visual editing.
• Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives through video editing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail.
