Role Description

As a Video Editor Intern, you’ll play a vital role in crafting engaging content that resonates across social media and digital platforms. Your expertise in storytelling, editing, and design will help us elevate our brand and message.

Key Responsibilities

• Long-form Content: Edit videos for platforms like YouTube, ensuring seamless transitions, synced audio, and polished visuals.
• Short-form Content: Create optimized reels, clips, and trailers for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
• Highlight Selection: Identify and edit compelling moments from raw footage for engaging social media snippets.
• Enhancements: Incorporate graphics, text overlays, b-rolls, and animations to enrich the narrative.
• Audio & Visual Quality: Sync audio tracks, apply sound leveling and effects, and ensure consistent color correction and visual quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content and design teams to align video edits with brand objectives.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and social media formats to keep content fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, especially for long-form or interview-style content.
• Proficiency in editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with audio editing, sound leveling, and syncing.
• Ability to create social media-optimized content (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong storytelling skills with an eye for selecting impactful moments.
• Knowledge of color correction and basic animation (preferred).
• Creative mindset with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
