Video Editor

Overview
Daniel Krafft is seeking a Video Editor to assist with creating fast-paced content on YouTube. The ideal candidate is someone with a dry sense of humor and familiarity with online culture. This is a contract job with the possibility of turning into a full-time position. No experience is required. The selected candidate will work closely with the creator to strategically improve videos, and gain a close understanding of online communities and engagement.

Duties

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product.
• Collaborate with the creator to understand project goals and vision.
• Learn the basics of various digital tools to procure original footage.
• Identify and learn additional techniques based on personal interest.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure all assets are properly managed.

Skills

• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite or alternative.
• Basic familiarity with YouTube and online culture.
• Optional understanding of 3D modeling principles is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
