LONG-FORM VFX PRODUCER – ALT.VFX

Alt.vfx is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Long-Form VFX Producer to join our world-class team. With a proven track record in delivering high-end episodic and feature-length productions, the ideal candidate thrives on managing complex VFX workflows while maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members.

About the Role

As a Long-Form VFX Producer, you will collaborate closely with Executive Producers, VFX Supervisors, and the wider production team to ensure seamless delivery of projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in bidding, forecasting, and pipeline management will be key to driving success across our feature film and episodic slate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the bidding process for long-form projects, creating accurate cost estimates, change orders, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor and department leads to assess turnovers, evaluate project scopes, and determine resource needs.
• Manage and track production budgets, identifying and mitigating potential overages.
• Work with Compositing, CG, and other HODs to align on project goals and requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring milestones are met and adjustments are made as needed.
• Provide clear communication and concise reporting to clients and internal teams.
• Foster a supportive, solution-focused environment, anticipating and resolving production challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Producer on high-end feature film or episodic projects.
• Extensive experience in bidding and budgeting for complex long-form VFX productions.
• Comprehensive understanding of VFX pipelines, workflows, and scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Shotgun and other production tracking tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the team and with clients.
• Proactive attitude, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to shifting project demands.
• Strong understanding of the film and television industry, including the unique demands of long-form production.
