Job Summary
We are a progressive, vibrant, growing ministry with an active social media presence, seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer/Editor to join our ministry team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media, with expertise in video production and editing. This role involves capturing high-quality footage, editing content for various platforms, and collaborating with team members to produce engaging video projects that align with our vision.
Duties
- Capture high-quality video footage for various projects, including promotional materials, short films, events, worship services, and ministry announcements
- Edit raw footage into polished final products using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, sound editing, and adding graphics or animations as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and video editing.
- Create graphics for ministry events and sermon graphics
- Assist in photography when required to complement video content.
Requirements
- Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator) and Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of post-production processes and techniques.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives through visual media.
- Knowledge of film production techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an ministry environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver tasks timely.
- Working knowledge of Sony (a7iii & FX3) cameras, preferred.
- Experience working in church/ministry settings.
Compensation will be vary based on experience.
