Video Editor & Videographer (Atlanta)
Sports Card Investor, the leading source of sports card news, data and analysis, is excited to expand its quickly growing team with the addition of a Video Editor and Videographer in Atlanta, Georgia.
If selected for this role, your primary focus will be to edit videos for our popular YouTube and social channels. You will also be asked to film and produce shows in our Atlanta studio and do on-location filming for special events.
You might be great for this role if you love editing and filming fun and creative videos and have a passion for storytelling. If you also happen to be a sports fan or have a passion for collecting cards and memorabilia of any type, you’ll feel right at home.
This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits. This role is located in Atlanta, Georgia at our office within CardsHQ and is not available for remote work. Some travel (6-12 times per year), including weekend work and travel, to film industry events will be required.
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- Has at least 2 years of video editing and videography experience
- Has a strong portfolio of video editing and videography
- Has edited videos for YouTube, Instagram and other social media sites
- Vlog-style filming and editing in your portfolio
- Is proficient in Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere
- Ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment
- Often uses DSLR/mirrorless cameras for filming
- Passion for videography/storytelling
- Shows strong creative talent and attention to detail
- Organized and managed media for multiple projects at once
- Is comfortable working with quick deadlines and turnarounds
- Takes pride in their video work
- Is a great team player and willing to help the goals of the production department
- Has general knowledge of the major professional sports
- Has some card collecting experience or a desire to learn
Bonus points for:
- Being a collector of cards or memorabilia
- Has worked in professional studios
- Having photoshop and graphic design experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
