- Ability to communicate in written and/or verbal form

- Collaborate with the program coordinator to develop filming schedules for various locations.
- Prepare for filming assignments by familiarizing yourself with the location. (Program coordinator will provide you with information about the locations, owner/manager requests, vision and objectives for the videos, potential storyboards for shots/sequences, etc.)
- Travel to designated locations and collaborate in real-time with businesses/organizations during filming to ensure that their preferences and desired content are effectively captured.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the storytelling and visual appeal of the promotional videos.
- Capture high-quality footage that aligns with the businesses’ vision and highlights the unique features, products, and services of each location.
- Ensure proper lighting, sound, and composition to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
- After filming, submit the raw footage to the program coordinator for editing and post-production. UPLIFT will handle the editing process.
- Passion for storytelling and supporting your local communities.
- Interest in videography, filming, photography and media.
- Strong attention to detail and creative storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate in real-time with diverse community members and businesses.
- Completely flexible.
- Videographers must physically travel to the assigned site for filming.
- Will be moving around a touristic site for filming. These will often be outdoor spaces on natural grounds (not paved).
- Personal equipment should be no heavier than 10 pounds. Additional lifting and/or physical exertion not required.
