The Senior Editor & Motion Designer is responsible for leading the post production phase for a wide variety of content creation projects across marketing, advertising and communications. This phase includes but is not limited to, media ingestion & backup, story-based editing, animation, motion graphics, sound design, colour grading, captioning and delivery of final assets to required specs. As a senior member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead projects, collaborate with creative teams and contribute to the growth and success of the agency.

High Proficiency in:

All work primarily takes place on Apple iMac and MacBook Pro computing systems. A high to expert level of knowledge is required with the following:

• Adobe Premiere Pro CS
• Adobe After Effects CS 
• Adobe Illustrator
• DaVinci Resolve

Bonus points if you are proficient with Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.

Mains Duties include:

• Build strong relationships with RF staff and contribute to company development tasks like templates and documents.
• Assist in research and development, marketing projects, and content production for Ride Free.
• Participate in strategy/creative sessions, WIPs, and continue self-education to stay industry-relevant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical, logistical, and personnel issues in editing and animation.
• Deliver training and mentorship in Motion Graphics and Animation to Post Team members.
• Manage multiple post-production projects, including creating storyboards, editing media, and adding VFX, color grading, and sound mixing.
• Ensure quality control, client feedback integration, and export final productions in optimized formats.

Training and Development

The Senior Editor & Motion Designer reports to and will receive most of their training from the Creative Director & Operations Director. Training will be provided in the form of verbal and written information as well as on-the-job training. You will be provided with an onboarding program that will assess your skills and knowledge, and then govern the level of ongoing training you require for your role.
