Job Title: Video Editor

Position Type: Contract
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (On-site 4 days a week)

Salary Range: upto $28/hr + Benifits

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and re-edit videos for the Reelshort app and create promotional video ads.
• Review rough cuts for any flaws, provide feedback, and improve video quality.
• Continuously enhance video content based on performance data provided by the marketing team.
• Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure consistent communication and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video projects in line with established guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2-4 years of video editing experience in a marketing or creative team setting.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects (Davinci Resolve is a plus).
• Language: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is preferred due to international communication.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for perfection.
• Creative mindset with the ability to match music to the narrative.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, meeting goals and deadlines.
• Preferred: Experience in a startup environment.
