  • General Footage: Capture daily footage of campers engaging in various activities (sports, competitions, campfires, etc.) to ensure a broad and diverse representation of the camp experience.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with camp counselors, activity leaders, and the administration team to ensure key moments and events are covered.
  • Editing and Post-Production: Utilize video editing software to produce high-quality, polished videos that are delivered on time to meet weekly deadlines.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all video equipment is properly maintained, stored, and charged for daily use.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in videography and video editing.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to capture emotional and fun moments.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience working in a camp or youth-oriented environment (preferred, NOT REQUIRED).
  • Ability to be active outdoors and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Perks:

  • Free room and board during the camp season.
  • Opportunity to work in a fun, supportive, and energetic environment.
  • Develop a portfolio of work showcasing your videography and editing skills.

At Horseshoe, we’re committed to excellence and we’re looking for the best. We want staff who will take this job as seriously as we do! We offer a competitive salary based on age and experience, travel stipend, room and board and an exciting and fun work environment.
