Scare Actor/Actress

Job Overview: The Arcade District is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Scare Actors for our Halloween event on October 26th. As a Scare Actor, you will be a crucial part of creating a thrilling and unforgettable experience for our guests. If you have a love for all things spooky and a flair for performance, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Character Performance: Bring assigned characters to life through convincing acting and body language to engage and scare guests.
• Scare Techniques: Utilize various scare techniques such as jump scares, atmospheric presence, and improvisational dialogue to create a memorable experience.
• Safety and Professionalism: Maintain a safe environment for both guests and fellow actors. Be aware of personal space and boundaries to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
• Makeup and Costume: Wear provided costumes and makeup to transform into your character. Arrive prepared and in character before your shift begins.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a fun, interactive, and spooky manner, enhancing the overall event experience.
• Flexibility: Adapt your performance based on crowd reactions and event needs. Be open to feedback and willing to adjust your approach to maximize the guest experience.

Requirements:

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability: Must be available on October 26th, including evenings and late nights.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform in potentially hot or cold conditions.
• Acting Experience: Previous experience in acting or performing arts is a plus, but not required.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others and take direction from the event coordinator and team leads.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
