Job Summary: The Ice Palace is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Character Actors to join our magical team. As a Character Actor, you will bring joy and entertainment to all visitors, immersing them in the enchanting world of the Ice Palace. This role requires individuals who can engage with guests of all ages, maintain a positive and joyful demeanor, and perform in costume in a cold environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with Guests: Interact with visitors in character, providing a magical and memorable experience through conversations, greetings, and playful interactions.
• Stay in Character: Maintain your role and persona throughout your shift, ensuring a consistent and joyful performance.
• Uplift and Entertain: Spread cheer and positivity, ensuring that all guests leave with a smile. You are the face of the Ice Palace’s magic.
• Costume Performance: Wear and perform in costumes provided by the Ice Palace. Ensure costumes are well maintained and adhere to any costume guidelines.
• Endurance: Perform in cold environments for extended periods, while standing and walking throughout the Ice Palace.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle all guest interactions with grace and patience, avoiding conflict and maintaining a professional attitude. Do not break character under any circumstances.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other actors, staff, and management to ensure a seamless and enchanting guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Entertainment Experience: Previous experience in acting, character roles, or performance is a plus.
• Positive Attitude: Must be able to maintain a joyful and friendly demeanor at all times, even in challenging situations.
• Physical Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and interact with guests for long periods, as well as withstand cold temperatures.
• Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and a calm attitude.
• Costume Compliance: Comfortable wearing and performing in various costumes.
• Reliability: Punctuality and commitment to maintaining the magic of the Ice Palace are essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
