*Overview*

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong skill set in video production and editing. You will work closely with our production team to create engaging content that resonates with our audience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of video editing software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*

– Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project goals and brand standards.

– Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.

– Utilize software such as Final Cut Pro to enhance video quality through color correction, sound editing, and visual effects.

– Incorporate typography and 2D animation elements into videos to enhance storytelling.

– Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

– Assist in videography tasks including shooting video content as needed.

– Maintain organized files and archives for easy access during the editing process.

– Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve video quality.

*Experience*

– Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Premiere Pro.

– Experience in videography and familiarity with filming techniques.

– Knowledge of graphic design principles and 2D animation is a plus.

– Skills in photo editing using tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, and photo manipulation techniques are advantageous.

– A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required for consideration.

– Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour
