Photographer & Videographer

Overview:

The Photographer and Videographer is responsible for producing high-quality photos and videos that showcase products, services, people, and brand experience for SharBert’s multi-disciplinary organization. The Photographer and Videographer works closely with the marketing team to develop visual content for various marketing campaigns, social media channels, websites, and promotional materials. The Photographer and Videographer will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills in photography and videography, and the ability to translate SharBert’s brand vision into visually captivating content.

Responsibilities:

• Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos of retail products, restaurant and retail interiors, events, employees, and customers experiences using professional equipment and techniques
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, storyboard, and execute photo and video shoots that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives
• Photo Editing and Retouching: Edit and retouch photos to enhance their visual appeal, ensuring consistency in style, color grading, and brand guidelines
• Video Editing and Production: Edit and produce engaging video content, including product demonstrations, brand storytelling, promotional videos, and social media snippets
• Location Scouting: Identify suitable locations for photo and video shoots, considering factors such as lighting, aesthetics, accessibility, and cost
• Creative Direction: Provide creative input and suggestions for visual concepts, compositions, and aesthetics to elevate the quality and impact of our visual content
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including marketing managers, designers, and content creators, and leadership teams to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Content Distribution: Optimize and format photos and videos for various digital platforms, including social media channels, website galleries, email newsletters, and digital advertising

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in photography, videography, visual arts, or a related field
• Proven experience as a photographer and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in retail and restaurant environments
• Proficiency in photography and videography equipment, software, and techniques, including DSLR cameras, lighting setups, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), and video editing tools
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and storytelling principles in visual content creation
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in visual storytelling
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for special events or time-sensitive projects
• Experience in retail or restaurant photography/videography is a plus
