Job Summary
As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of visitors through various attractions, providing them with engaging and informative tours. We will provide a script for you to narrate while on the trolley with the driver.
Responsibilities
– Communicate effectively with tour groups to deliver engaging and fun tours
– Showcase knowledge of historical facts, cultural insights, or other relevant information related to the tour’s theme
– Lead groups through designated tour routes, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants
– Utilize public speaking skills to captivate audiences and maintain their interest throughout the tour
– Tailor tours to suit the interests of high end corporate clients
– Provide a high level of customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and special requests from tour participants
Qualifications
– Experience in public speaking or performance arts such as theater or dance
– Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
– Knowledge or interest in history, culture, or other relevant subjects related to the tour
– Experience working with children is a plus
– Passion for educating and entertaining others through storytelling and engaging presentations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
