Full job description
Position Overview:
We are looking for an expert-level Videographer with a deep mastery of green-screen production, capable of delivering precision and consistency across all aspects of a shoot. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with complex setups, an acute attention to detail, and the ability to maintain exacting standards from pre-production through to final cut. If your portfolio reflects a commitment to excellence and a track record of high-quality, professional-grade video content, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Green-Screen Mastery: Execute flawless green-screen setups, ensuring the chroma key is impeccably lit and occupies the entire frame, with no visible background or extraneous elements. Your expertise should minimize the need for post-production correction, delivering a clean keying result straight from the camera.
- Precision in Technical Execution:
- Guarantee rock-solid stabilization by utilizing professional-grade tripods and rigs, ensuring zero movement across all takes.
- Maintain a perfectly leveled camera setup to avoid any post-production tilt corrections, resulting in a polished and professional final product.
- Capture pristine audio in stereo, ensuring a balanced and immersive sound experience that complements the visual quality.
- Achieve seamless and uniform lighting across the subject, ensuring there are no discrepancies in brightness from head to toe. You should be able to diagnose and adjust lighting setups to perfection on the fly.
- Ensure razor-sharp focus is maintained on the subject throughout the shoot, avoiding any shifts to the background. Your work should reflect a consistent and professional focus across all shots.
- Maintain consistent framing and zoom levels throughout the shoot, ensuring that each sequence aligns perfectly for post-production editing. Your setup should be dialed in from the start, with no adjustments required during the shoot.
- Collaborate effectively with on-set makeup artists and talent scouts, who will assist in managing hair and makeup for the shoot. Use your expertise to direct the team in applying professional-grade techniques, such as hair lacquer, to manage stray strands, ensuring a natural yet controlled appearance on camera.
- Consistency and Continuity:
- Lock in camera settings, including focus, framing, and zoom, before the shoot begins, ensuring uniformity across all sequences. Any deviation in these elements should be addressed immediately to maintain continuity.
- Ensure every shot meets the highest standards of quality, with no room for error or inconsistency, especially in the context of green-screen production.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in high-level green-screen video production, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to execute complex setups and deliver professional, broadcast-quality results.
- In-depth knowledge of camera operations, including advanced focus techniques, zoom stabilization, and precise framing.
- Expertise in lighting and audio capture, with the ability to achieve consistent, high-quality results in varying conditions.
- A meticulous approach to detail, with a proven ability to identify and correct issues on set, ensuring a flawless final product.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively with the creative team, to achieve the project’s vision.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with video editing and post-production workflows.
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and other UGC (User-Generated Content) formats.
- Previous work in the advertising industry, especially with short-form content.
- Experience with talent scouting or working with actors/models in commercial shoots.
If you are a seasoned videographer with a passion for excellence in green-screen production, and you have a track record of delivering superior video content, we invite you to apply.
