Scare Actor

Are you a fan of all things spooky? Do you have a talent for terrifying others? The Green Keepers are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated actors to join our team for the upcoming Halloween season. As a professional haunted house actor, you’ll be responsible for creating a chilling atmosphere and delivering spine-tingling scares to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

– Portray a variety of horror characters, such as zombies, ghosts, clowns, and other eerie figures.

– Engage with guests in character, delivering scares and enhancing their haunted house experience.

– Maintain character consistency throughout the entire shift.

– Follow direction from the creative team to ensure a safe and frightening environment.

– Work in dark, confined spaces with special effects, loud noises, and intense lighting.

– Stay in character and uphold a high energy level throughout the night.

Requirements:

– Previous acting experience is a plus, but not required.

– Must be comfortable working in a dark, loud, and potentially claustrophobic environment.

– Strong ability to improvise and interact with guests in a frightening and entertaining manner.

– Must be able to work nights, weekends, and Halloween.

– Physical stamina is required, as the role may involve standing for long periods and sudden movements.

– Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.

– Must be 21 or older

Audition Information:

Audition Dates: *Friday, October 4th, at 5:00pm

*Saturday, October 5th at 12:00pm

Location: Arizona Golf Resort at 425 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ

What to expect at the Audition:

-You will be asked to perform a short improvisation in character.

– Be prepared to showcase your ability to deliver scares and stay in character.

– Please wear comfortable clothing and be ready to move or wear a personal costume that you would like to perform in.

Pay:

Compensation will be negotiated based on talent and abilities. Actors with their own costumes and professional experience will be given preference and may receive higher pay.

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
