Full job description

We are Vervaunt, a paid media and eCommerce consultancy agency. We work with ambitious brands and retailers to help them achieve their eCommerce goals and solve their hardest challenges.

This role is for a passionate video editor with a strong creative vision and an eye for storytelling through visual media. You will excel at conceptualising and executing video content that captivates audiences and aligns with brand narratives. You should have experience in video editing, motion graphics, and a solid understanding of how to craft videos that drive engagement and performance across digital platforms. An appreciation for brand storytelling, combined with technical editing skills and a knowledge of video formats for various social media channels, is crucial. Familiarity with how data and insights can improve video content performance will also be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and create engaging video content for social media, paid ads, and client campaigns
  • Manage the video production process from ideation to final delivery, including storyboarding and selecting music, transitions, and effects
  • Optimise video assets for different platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook
  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate motion graphics and animations into video content
  • Produce iterations and edits of video content based on performance and insights
  • Stay updated on the latest video trends and creative techniques in social media and digital advertising
  • Support the wider team with video concepts for new business pitches, including creating mood boards, editing video mockups, and contributing to creative presentations
  • Contribute to client shot lists & help to concept new ad ideas

Skills and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience in video editing for social media platforms, with an understanding of aspect ratios, resolution, and best practices for different platforms
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, with some experience in integrating animation into video projects
  • Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and the emotional impact of video content
  • Some knowledge of performance marketing and how videos can drive conversions (beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in a creative or production environment
