Want to join the team of monsters that are the life and soul of Wales’ BIGGEST Halloween event? We are after SCARE ACTORS for TERROR MOUNTAIN at the Silver Mountain Experience, just outside Aberystwyth!

Previous experience in acting or scaring is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided to successful applicants. You will need to have enthusiasm and confidence, and an ability to take direction. Selected seasonal work for selected dates in October 2024, plus training sessions (see below). Costumes provided. Role is suitable for those aged 18 and above. Salary above NMW/NLW: £9.50-£12.00 per hour.

WHEN WILL I BE NEEDED?

Actors will be required for all of the following dates. Training sessions (unpaid) will each be 3-4 hours. Tech run, dress rehearsal & show nights (paid) actors will be needed on site by no later than 5.30pm to get into costume/makeup and in position ready for opening at 6.30pm. Actors will be needed until 11.15/11.30pm.

Training: 5th October (12pm) & one evening w/c 7th October from 5.30pm (TBC depending on which attraction you are placed in)

Tech run: 15th October

Dress Rehearsal: 16th October

Additional training if necessary: 17th October

Show Nights:

18th, 19th, 25th, 26th, 30th & 31st October

Terror Mountain is located at The Silver Mountain Experience, just outside Aberystwyth in Wales.

Llywernog, Ponterwyd, Aberystwyth SY23 3AB

Applicants must already be based within commuting distance of us. You must be able to attend your audition, training, rehearsals and all show nights.
