Seasonal Actor – Santa Claus

Rand Farm Park  are seeking talented and enthusiastic performers to join the magical festivities this season.

As the father of Christmas, Santa Claus is soulful, warm, humorous, refined and gentle, greeting families into the Grotto ready to listen to the farmer folk visitor’s Christmas wishes.
£19.45 per hour.

‘The Real Christmas Experience’ is an immersive and interactive theatrical production; creating a magical portal into the Elven town of Merryjingle and the world of Santa Claus himself. At Rand Farm Park, we believe in delivering a very ‘real’ and unique experience for every group that visits, welcoming them into various scenes as they travel through the town meeting the elves, Santa and Mrs Claus along the way!

We are looking for engaging, passionate individuals to who are committed to creating magical experiences for all. Experience performing, particularly in an immersive production or family-friendly environment, preferred but not required as full training will be provided.

Full and part time roles available.

In most cases, the audition process will include a self-tape followed by a zoom call or in-person meeting. Some roles will require applicants to attend an open audition/workshop.

We are auditioning for a variety of roles with varying requirements.

General working environment and requirements:
– Guest-facing position, requiring high-levels of interaction on a consistent basis.
– Use of technical equipment, including touchscreen tablets.
– Confidence to control the flow rate of guests through pro-active time management.
– Ability to engage and adapt communication style to suit a variety of colleagues and visitors.

*Good availability on weekends from the 23rd November to 24th December is crucial to the role.
